We were living in a house in Harrison Township and we had already put a lot of money into the house when the money ran out. We knew if we put anymore time and effort into the place we would never be able to get our money back out of it. We were in a fix. We couldn’t sell the house the way it was and we couldn’t afford to fix it up to sell it. Besides we needed a bigger place.
I saw a “For Sale” sign in a neighbor’s yard and called to check on the price of that property. Tim Martin told me about the house that was for sale and told me what his business was all about. So I asked if he could help us with our home. Tim came with a workable solution that made everyone happy. He bought our house freeing us to purchase another home. He remodeled our house and sold it to another family. Everyone was a winner!

We really didn't think we could qualify for home ownership. After one year in the Rent-to-Own program we were able to qualify for bank financing. It was easy. All we had to do was make our monthly payments on time and we were able to use the monthly payments to refinance the house.
